Look Inside This Book

The Time of My Life is the travelogue of Cherie Sutton Pettit, who at the age of 18, embarked on a Grand Tour of Europe in late 1938 -- just prior to World War II. Her trip took her throughout Europe during some of the most dramatic and powerful times before World War II. Most memorable was the tour of Nazi Germany and the beginning of Hitler’s reign of terror -- seen firsthand.

Fortunately for later generations, Cherie chronicled her travels with a daily diary of the intriguing things and places she saw. Every night she created watercolors of what she saw and wrote a running commentary. This book is an exact replica of the original papers that she had bound in Italy. Although the insights of a young 18-year old are fascinating in themselves, her remarkable and creative watercolors of her travels are equally incredible. It is truly an extraordinary book.

We are confident you will be overwhelmed by this beautiful work of art. The book retails for $50 and all proceeds are donated to the Garden Club of America.
